Taking Part in 2012 - Sailing

Sailing is another sport in which Great Britain excels, and another sport that can provide a fantastic corporate participation event. This is not, though, just another “corporate sailing day” as guests will be using the smaller laser-class yachts used in competition, and doing so with some of Great Britain’s best sailors, hosted at the home of sailing in 2012, the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. 

Example Itinerary

09.30 Guests arrive and meet their hosts while coffee and pastries are served

10.00 Full briefing on the day’s activities followed by an on-water introduction to sailing including crewing and helming

11.00 Sailing session, pushing guests further and culminating in some head-to-head racing

14:00 Gourmet buffet lunch and drinks with your host

16:00 Prize-giving?

16:30 Guests depart
