Which Grand Prix Should I go to in 2022?
17 MarAhead of a packed 23-race calendar for the 2022 F1 season, we ask, which Grand Prix would be the right one for you? Firstly, don’t be mistaken - all races offer something unique, that’s the charm (and point) of having such a large calendar. From the glitz and glamour of the Monaco Grand Prix to the raw passion of the Tifosi at Monza, we list some of our recommendations on where to join us for the finest hospitality experience this year.
We’ll start with the jewel in the crown – the Monaco Grand Prix. The who’s who of showbiz attend this historic race, an event that stands alone and is almost distinct from F1 itself. From walking along the Monte Carlo harbour to Larvotto Beach (the only beach in Monaco), as well as some of the best restaurants on offer (the Michelin-starred Joël Robuchon at the Hôtel Métropole just off Casino Square is a Red Eye favourite), the principality is the place to be, come the end of May. Want to join us for this iconic weekend aboard our super yacht, offering a gourmet buffet provided by Lush by Tom Kerridge as well as an all-day complimentary bar with Champagne? The home of Formula 1, the British Grand Prix. The circuit hosted the first ever round of the World Championship in 1950 and is one of the fastest (and most attended) races the calendar visits, with average speeds of up to 145mph and over 150,000 fans in 2021. The unpredictability of the British weather shouldn’t be a reason to not attend either – with the sun ablaze it’s a fantastic weekend to rub shoulders with team personnel in the paddock, but if the weather isn’t so kind you can sit back and relax in our Harbour Club VIP hospitality suite and watch the action unfold. For this weekend, we can offer a 3-day ticket to the exclusive Red Bull Racing Paddock Club Suite as well, with a tour of the teams’ garage, daily Pit Lane walks and appearances from reigning World Champion, Max Verstappen, and Sergio Perez. The setting for the F1 finale in recent years, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix starts in twilight and ends under the floodlit night. The Yas Marina Circuit is a premium facility wrapped around the yacht filled Marina, with the stunningly illuminated W Hotel an integral part of the track’s architecture. Venture into Abu Dhabi itself, it’s a modern, cosmopolitan city in the heart of the Arabian Gulf with the world-renowned Abu Dhabi Mall (selling everything, tax-free). Want to stay close to the circuit? There are a plethora of restaurants and bars at the heart of Yas Marina, including Iris, a trendy lounge with artisan beverages, contemporary cuisine, and resident DJs. Do you want to party with the drivers, team personnel and other VIPs? Then the Amber Lounge is the place to be following the final chequered flag of the season. And for the race - Our famous Harbour Club VIP lounge and terrace is arguably the best spot on the circuit with unbeatable hospitality. View our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix hospitality packages here.
A new addition to the calendar for this season, the iconic city of Miami, Florida, will host its own Grand Prix in May. A city filled with sports teams, the GP will take place at the Miami International Autodrome - a temporary-built circuit surrounding the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the 2-time NFL Champions, Miami Dolphins. 14-miles South is the FTX Arena, where the Miami Heat contest their home NBA games, the former team of legend LeBron James. From a court to the ice, the Florida Panthers have played in Miami since 1993 in the NHL. European sports fan? You may have heard of Inter Miami CF – the club founded in 2018 by former England and Manchester United player, David Beckham. Want to join us in Miami?
